Alright so i just finished my exhaust on my cool tube and i thought i'd share my grow box with all of you. Its 3x2x5(LxDxH) i have a 250 watt hps and i am growing in fox farm ocean forest soil with 8 1.5 gallon pots, temps at the highest are 87deggres, shit is rockinnnn'! let me know what you guys think, suggestions are more than welcome!

thanks man i'm real proud of my self on this one. the biggest ones are three weeks in and i have one that is like 2 weeks in. the rest have sprouted outa the ground like 4 days ago.

are those bagseed or you got some good genetics??what kind of fan are you using?(cfm)?do you got your cooltube connected one way the othe side is just there.

yup just some bagseed i got from the connect, he said the guy he got them from told him they were gran daddy purp but you know how people on the street are, just tag names on shit for money but its sativa strain for sure. i'm using a 4" vortex fan i got off ebay for 130 even, moving air at 271cfm, shit is baller for my box. and the cool tube is just open at the other end.

o yeah by the way, i have a lot of insulated duct left, does anyone know if that metalized jacket around the duct could be used as a ghetto reflector for my cool tube?

I don't have personal experience, but if you have read Amazon.com: Marijuana Buds for Less: Grow 8 oz. of Bud for Less Than $100: SeeMoreBuds: Books
He grows mango, the mango plant yielded 3oz from cfl's. Check it out if you haven't already.

i saw that video and its kind of hard 2 beleive...i veg with my 400 hps only and they are doing good,they are 3 weeks shooting out 9 blades soon ill just flower they so big

holy shit three weeks and nine blades already? that's pretty quick if I'm not mistaken. what kinda of soil are you using? so you don't think that putting cfl's with my 250 watt hps would help any? defiantly think my mind is set on the mango.

im using regular soil now im gonna transplant in foxfarms soil real soon because i plan on flowering in a week or so..i would just go with the 250..cfls could put light where it cant be given from by the 250 though so if u have it use it if not dont worry

You'll be fine with just the 250, but if you can keep temps low, more light is always better! Rep on the box, man! Did you just nail some OSB together? I put frozen liters bottled water in my cab and it keeps temps about 80 at the highest. ANd thats with the thermometer RIGHT below the cooltube glass like 2 inches! My 150 HPS is flowering my two BC Mango/LR #2 crosses. They are a month and a half from SPROUT! Check the link to some photos: BC Mango/LR #2 150 HPS

Veg'n under HPS is just fine. I've read you may get more side shoots, or maybe less? I don't remember. If you get worried you can veg awesome with two or three CFL's per plant, and with as close as your plants are they would share nicely.

hahh yeah man home depot is the place to build yourself a cheap box. they cut your wood to whatever size you can think of! it cost me ruffly about 60-70 bucks to build it including, plywood, screws, and foam sealant. measurements had to be precise to fit in my closet. thanks for appreciating my hard work.
nice setup you got by the way. your plants look delish! how much you think you will yield? can you smell that mango scent yet? and how are the buds looking like color wise? haha i see your frozen liter of water, i just popped one into my grow room and the temps 86 and slowly cooling do those straws you have at the cap help?
