My 1 plant update

My 1 plant is huge for an amateur indoor grow....

I'd just like to know how long I have to wait until I can harvest this bad boy.

It's in the budding stage right? Any advice on how I can speed up this process?

Basically it takes 2 months of flowering for the early finishers, up to 3 months for the later ones. You can buy a pocket microscope (or jeweler's magnifying glass x30 is good enough). With this device, check the trichomes (the resin). 3 stages:

- clear: you'll get a more heady high. Better to wait.

- cloudy: almost there. The high is in between heady and couch lock.

- amber: latest stage. The high is the most powerful.

Usually people cut it when the trichomes are 50 cloudy/ 50 amber.

nice looking plants there mate.. keep up the gud work.. :)

btw, got any idea where i can buy the microscope?

It's just 1 plant

I never knew that you need a 12/12 cycle for it to bloom so I kept it on a 20/4 cycle for 5 months lol

I was about to ask that... switch it to 12/12 then you'll get BUDS, those are just pre-mature little fetus buds compared to what you could have... nice big plant!

Yeah, it's under fluro as well but it just recently changed...so im hoping it will be good enough

good deal.

FYI, the plants are designed (by Mother nature) to start to flower when light is 12/12 because it is the light schedule of Fall... also why they love the red/orange light (harvest/fall sun)

The long days 18/6... 24/0 etc are the long days of Spring/summer and the bright BLUE (daylight CFLs/MH) of spring/sum

Your plants have been this 5 month long summer, they're forcing to spit some type of bud, even though the conditions aren't right.. a middle aged woman wanting to have a child late in life... before its too late... kinda thing

Its amazing how well designed a little seed is, isn't it?

yeah, im going to do this a little better next time

but they have been in 12/12 stage for about a week....is this how she should be looking?
