So, it had been a few years since I grew, and quite while since I had even smoked when one evening, after several beers I remembered a few seeds I'd saved. These were from some bud which was quite good, and I remember being pleasantly surprised to find them at the time. I found the seeds that night and set them to germinating.
A couple of days later I remembered that I had started some seeds (some kind of pro grower, huh?), found that they had germinated, and figured what the heck, maybe I'll go ahead and plant them. Well, lets just say that it rekindled an old passion. I ended up with 4 nice babies of the 7 seeds I germinated, hoping for 2 females as it is just a small personal grow. It was also my intent to keep them in pots so as to be able to move them.
Fortunately, 3 of the 4 ended up being girls, one of which I 'black boxed' early so I could have an earlier harvest since I had been without for quite some time. The final 2 have been flowering for several weeks, and are getting closer all the time.
One of them had been grown in MG soil, kind of as an experiment. It was after they were all in MG soil in 1 gal pots that I did any research and read the bad opinions about MG. Being curious I kept one in MG, and being cautious I changed the other 2 to my blend. I'll say the MG worked but makes the nutes a challenge, and in my opinion is only for someone who only wants to water, not feed. I'm old school and used a conservative generic balanced food for veg, and a generic bloom food with molasses during flower. No fancy fox farms this, and guano tea that... But next year it's in the ground and all the best food and tea's...
I guess this is my chance to show something nobody else knows about... I have also attached a few pics of the progress...
