Hey guys.....Im 8 weeks in on flower and the aphids have come in. I want to harvest when my trichomes are cloudy only......heres the best pic I could take. So I have to cut em now coz of the bugs....do you think these triches look good?

Okay cool man....yeah I gotta chopem....those little fuckers screwed my shit. So what? Dip em in cold water for like two minutes and then hang em up to dry? Hope it will still be good smoke after that man. Oh well...some smoke is better than no smoke
 
aphids don't eat THC, or trics, but do suck sap/xylem

using bugs as an excuse to get your hands on weed ....sucks lol
 
I always wash my outside harvest.. I use a bucket full of ice cold water.. Take each limb and swish it back and forth, up and down, shake the water off and hang to dry.. I remove most of the leaf material before hand.. You'll be surprised at what shows up in the bucket..

:bigjoint: nah man......got other good budz to smoke. Aint in no hurry....just dont want all that shit all over
 
Okay well good....I will try it....just hope I will still vet some sort of buzz off the early harvest

Eight weeks is a lot like 56 days, you will get buzzed. Never had aphids but can't they be dealt with?
 
I believe the aphids are killable but to do so would require using pesticide and maybe thats what he doesnt want to do because he is in flower.

look to making ice hash without the hash...?

avoid this as in most cases ..trics are very fragile come harvest

the best way to snap of those trics is rough handling and ....

washing in cold water

search Ice Hash to confirm

Tepid water is fine and I run under a faucet if needed but be gentle. I have checked trichs before and after rinsing and no difference. People really do water cure also. It rains on outdoor plants also. Ice water sounds risky though. Trichs are much more fragile on dry weed and poorly cured weed.
