Must be ready?

Ok so I have grown from seed 3 northern lights they have all grown different due to experimenting with each for best results. Now i am 8 full weeks and a few days into flowering and the leaves have turned (as expected) but the buds still look like they could have some grow in them? Opinions please ready to crop or not? I have flushed them for the last week so no problem there.

I still see a lot of white pistils. The pistils turning brown and receding is the first sign of maturity. Looks like you have to wait. Patience my friend.

I was just thinking as the leaves have now turned and the plants appear to be ready, it's just the buds they look like a good yield. Am I going to get much more yeild at this stage and what happened a with quality of smoke cropping to early? Can't understand why the plants turned but the buds haven't worried it my cause buds to mould if I leave them.

Ok thankyou sorry for being such a dumbass I have never had this problem before and it's always good to get other opinions. Thanks again.

Yellow/dying leaves isn't really a sign that it's almost done.

That being said, your buds do look close. Sometimes the tips of the buds will still have fresh hairs coming out while the rest is totally mature. Does the rest of the bud look swollen with brown receeded calyxes?

Sorry if I may have missed it. What week may I ask  looks like to me they are trying to finish up bro. Take a look at your pistols & post back to us what color those are.. You got a scope to look at your trichs as well

Ideally, you want at least two weeks of Water-Only before harvesting. So, she's done w/ nutes.

It's personal preference on if you should chop or not. Clear/Cloudy = Cerebral High, Cloudy/Amber = Body High. I don't look at my trichs anymore, you can tell by the look of the plant. It looks to me that you're in a mostly Cloudy zone probably not much amber, chop it if that high suits you. Wait if it doesn't. You're plant won't rot unless you neglect it; it's still alive; just feed it water until you chop it. Then dry and cure it properly. GL

It does not matter what color the pistils are. Not all cannabis pistils turn red/orange when they are 'done'. I had some pistils finish nice and white (turned amber after the harvest). The only way to really tell if it's ready is to inspect the trichromes and look for mostly cloudy with a couple amber ones here and there. You need a fairly powerful scope. I got a USB 200x on ebay for like $25. BTW, looks great, I would say it's just about done!
