Mushy Roots

I'm growin in DWC/Bubbleponics system. Seems like my roots get mushy after a while. The first 2 weeks they're nice and strong, white, and looks like Ramen noodles. The same thing keeps happening. My roots seem to get mushy once in a while. I have cut the roots before when this happened. the roots grow back nice and they go in the water, then the seem to get mushy after a week or so in the water. My temp is always under 75 F. It seems if I lower my res and don't let the roots go in the water they get longer and stay nice. Now the ones I got flowering had the same problem but I dropped the level of the res down below normal and once I had a good root system I brought the res level up and now it's a strong root system. Which way is right?

the root mushiness is bacteria and fungus. Are you adding 5mL per gallon of H2O2 every 5 days or so? If not, it'll clear up your problem.

Yes I add at res change and every 2-3 days during. I also use Dutch Master Zone(Root Zone Conditioner). That's what I'm figuring it is though, cause there's no way for me to get in res w/o light hittin roots. Plus I've got to cool my water down with frozen bottles. It's just weird that they only turn mushy once they hit the water. And I've got a drip system, so they're getting the same water dripped on them before they hit the water, so if it was the actual water, they would get mushy long before they hit the water. :peace:-Dodge
