GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a multi-state, multi-agency investigation has led to the seizure of more than 225 pounds of marijuana with ties to the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program.

OSP says in a release Wednesday that three people were arrested and additional arrests are pending as investigations continue in Oregon and Minnesota.

The seized drugs have a value of more than $750,000.

Authorities say last month investigators in Minnesota contacted Oregon officials about an investigation with ties to southern Oregon.

Undercover officers later purchased 65 pounds of marijuana from two subjects in a Grants Pass restaurant parking lot. That led to the execution of three search warrants in Josephine and Jackson counties.

Authorities say Robert Bell, 46, Pedro Gavaliz, 49, and Jacob Thompson, 26, were all arrested on drug-related charges.
