Multi HID lighting question

Can I put a 400w in a vertical grow with a 600 watt overhead ? I figured one in the center for the plants to get coverage on the sides and rotate them every day. Then a 600 about 10 inches away overhead to get 9,500 lumens per sq foot above. Is that overkill? I know over 10,000 lumens creates light bleaching. The 400 w vertical was chosen because it can get closer with out burning the plants. And it is a tight fit for four plants. It is 30 in by 30 in by 5 ft. I chose this small area on purpose to get 9,500 lumens psf overhead for flowering. Or should I just go with 1 1,000w light overhead?

So what do you guys think? I also want to tell you about my ideas for a set up.

What you guys think of this?

I want to grow northern lights x big bud. I am going to do four plants and grow them as big as I can. Less plants easier grow. Northern lights x big bud is also a very forgiving strain. I am going to do a soil grow. Big bud easily grows mold. So I am going to only feed it during the light cycle to keep humidity down and prevent mold.

For nutes I am going with fox farms big bloom and grow big.

I am going to keep a close eye on the water ph and the run off ph. Only going to use half the suggested dosage for nutes.

I have a tricky way to water them. I weigh the plants on a digital scale and keep track of the weight watered and dry. When it loses enough weight I water.

The internal surface of the grow tent is reflective.

I am a first time grower and want to try and get my sh*( together for a good grow. I know I am going to make mistakes. But I am going to do a lot of research and learning before I get started.

Think its a good setup for a first grow?

i say the more light the better. as long as it doesn't interfere with temps, specially in a tent, you can have heat issues if you don't have good ventilation. Good luck
