Caregivers, are you going to go ahead and post on your states current status regarding dispensaries, meetings, compassion centers, etc. ?
It would be a nice and quick resource for folks to refer too while conversing.

Another patient caregiver here. Just trying a few new strains for different patient ailments. My patients are so thankful for the high quality meds I grow or have access to. I am willing to trade clones to other caregivers. Only high quality all the way. Caring for patients well fair ahead of the almighty $.

At the present the law state that a patient may grow up to 6 plants and hold one oz of usable medicine. A caregiver can grow up to 6 plants for each patient and hold one oz of usable medicie for each patient.

I will add more information as laws get passed. The law was passed in 2004 and the government decided to avoid the issue at all cost. Now the government is scrambling around trying to address the booming mmj business. Bozeman and Missoula seem to be the most open about dispensaries and there are a few thoughtout those cities. Some cities have banned them outright within city limits.

A good place for a potential patient looking to get a card is Montana Caregiver Network. They provide doctors and help guide you in getting all your paperwork straightened out. The only drawback is when it gets busy you will have a long waiting list. Ill have to find the link and post it soon.

Monatana does recognize other states medical cards. You can grab some medicine when vacationing in Montana. The law is still VERY grey in this area. The law is still very grey in many areas, such as trading between caregiver to caregiver. Anyone with any questions or comments please feel free to shoot (post or pm me). Also if I stated something wrong please say so as well. The law here in montana is changing daily dpepending on where you live.

Thanks Caregivers, sounds interesting. I do plan on a visit. I also am hoping to get in touch with growers who would be interested in allowing photos of their garden to be featured in a book as well a the possibility of use in an online magazine. The growing method is particular to Scrog however the states of which I have access may be my best bet for getting the final material.

How about the trade of tissue culture samples?
Interstate trade of genetics could be much more simply possible, maybe not shipped as of "today", but delivered via direct flight?

Those who might be willing to trade via tissue culture, list available genetics.

Montana caregiver here. Whats up all? I was reading the laws and I didnt see any patient limitations. On another forum I visit some of the guys have told me anything over a 100 plants and the feds can rape you. It makes no sense. If you can have a 100 patients thats 600 plants. I cant imagine trimming hundreds of pounds.....You would need a large crew!

Is there a limit to how many patients a caregiver can have in MT?
In Montana law ther eis no limit on the number of patients a caregivers may provide for. However certain cities do have restrictions on the number IE Great Falls is trying to pass a law allowing one patient per caregiver. Nuts and thats exactly the reason we have to maintain a political voice.

Some caregivers in Montana have had to hire people to work in there company as farmers, trimmers, bud-ishers (cashiers), etc etc. I know of 2 huge caregivers in Montana where one has over 150 patients and they have 11 workers I beleive working on various aspects of thier business. You just have to go legit and get on the books in order to provide for that many patients.
