I have a friend that taught me how to grow. He's very knowledgeable in this field I believe. His best grow was seven pounds under 4000-5000 watts. I believe it's 4200 watts. I can't remember. He grows Jack Herer.
He uses the tray system (I don't know exactly how he does it. That's how he keeps referring it) and uses GH three part nutes. I'm not too sure if that's a good grow or not. It sounds like it, based off of what I read here.
There's one big thing I'm confused about. He said to keep the nutes under 1.4 for 1000 watt lights. Anyone ever heard of that? Do you know why? What does everybody else get? I wonder if that is too low or high.
He said "they're weed plants. They don't need that much nutrients." I wanna produce more weight than this guy. Lol. Anybody else have good tips?
