Moving plant away from light to bud?

As of now I have four plants growing, one thats about a foot tall and three others that are about two weeks in. Unfortunately due to a lack of cash I only have one 96 watt light that will poorly grow a plant over a foot tall. My question is, if I keep my three plants on an 18/6 day/night cycle, can I move my bigger plant into darkness after 12 hours of light, and move it back into my growbox after 12 of darkness? Or will physically moving the plant harm it or what?

Alright good cause I knew that light wouldn't have been nearly enough if I let the bigger plant continue to grow in veg until my others were big enough to bud. And yeah I know tell me about it haha, I'm looking into getting some CFL's right now. Thanks for the response though I was nervous about trying this experiment. I'm usually good on time but do you think if I slip and let it get an extra hour of light or darkness it will harm the plant?
 
they have them there. brinks timers. just pick one up walk around with it slip it in your pocket look at sum shit and bounce. if you get caught just tell them it was a mistake you wernt thinking and put it in your pocket. just make sure you have the 5 bucks to pay for it incase they catch you. if you dont have 5 bucks borrow it
 
Well I already have a timer for my light, but I want to keep that light to veg my smaller plants. I meant move my bigger plant into a separate box with no light, just a fan, for 12 hours, then back into the veg box for 12 of light
