Moving Around Your Clone?

Not sure which thread to sort this but here it goes...


So my grow op is in another house then where I root my clones, sounds dumb, but im using the small space there for veg and flower rooms, My question is, whats the safest way to take a cut from my mother, and bring it in the car up to my house where my bubble cloner chamber is located, My last few went into jiffy pucks and Ive kept them in there and then went with it, no I dont want to introduce them to soil or whatever medium I choose at that matter, untill they are rooted. would a proper ph level cup of water do? just leave them submerged for the 8 minute drive and then clean them up, hormone them and bubble them??

I am starting to hate jiffy pucks, just do to the fact you cant see whats going on! Hence my changing over to a bubble cloner...

And another question I left out was, after I have had a cutting in a jiffy puck for about a week, or just a small soil potter, can I pull those out and put them in the cloner , or is that too much shock for these little girls. Its been awhile since ive grown i almost feel newbie. but I geuss Im just in the old times.... lol

I got cuttings from a friend about an hour away. I bought a cheap jar of olivias cloning gel, he cut them stuck them in the gel and I took them home in the gel tub. as far as your other question. I don't suggest moving them but my little puppy got a hold of one in rock wool and busted it open and broke about half the roots. I stuck it in the cloner and it mad it out fine! so It can be done just not the best Idea!

why not just take your cloner to your plants, take your cuttings, leave them in the cloner and then when they are rooted put them into your medium of choice and THEN take them back to your place?

i just use a beer bottle with plain water, can fit about 5 in one.

because we have no room to keep the cloner and all that at the plants, so thats why I need to bring the cuttings here. I know its not Ideal but I gotta work with what I have, lol and unfortunatly i have veg and flower room in another part of the town...

I cup of plain water bro works fine.I used a 32 ouce stirofoam yesterday and carried about 20 cuts home from my grow 5 miles away,if they different cuts just get another cup..

you can get a bowl of ph'd water take your cuttings place them in bowl and your good once at home do your cuts and final leaf trimming then place in cloner i have had clone cuts stay in a bowl of water and in fridge for over 24 hrs with no issues just make sure to leave extra stem for final 45 degree cut

So you have the same kind of setup?
or your just taking clones to grow them where you are?

All we do is I cut them bring them home root them pot them, bring them back, grow em. cycle continues...
I kinda got ancy and went to town early on my mother and left her rather bare bones, lol so Im thinking about grafting a couple other strains onto her where the open gap is, you tried that before?

i had some outdoor plants and i topped them, i was about 45 min from the house, just kept them in water until i got home a few hrs later. they were all fine.
