Hey all,

I started seeing yellow leaves slowly develop so last thursday I flushed with ph 6.0 water (its a hempy bucket) and then gave the 2nd watering on saturday with straight ph 6.0 water, then monday, I gave straight ph water, and wednesday I gave a small amount of grow big (pH'ed to 5.8). The yellowing still seems to be happening. Any ideas how to fix this?

The plant at your size normally starts to kill off lower fan leaves, to focus more on new growth to prepare for flowering, growers, depending on the grow normally remove the first 4" of growth on the bottom to allow this new growth to happen and help, increase yield and topping recovery. so it is normal for those leave to yellow and die, how old is this mother?

Also, this may be over watering, by the looks of it you are watering every 2 days, what you have to realize is that every plant is different, watering every two days is not good enough, depending on the strain and environment watering can change, and you need to adapt to your plants needs, the first 2" of soil will almost always be dry a day or a few hours after watering, if you stick your finger in the soil about 4" down( plus the 2") and if it is saturated(wet) wait a couple days and check again if its still wet wait another 2 days if it is just damp or lightly dry give it a drink

if you are using full strength nutes i would flush ur system and start using 1/4 strength and see how it reacts, may be too much nutes, if your PH is fluctuating it could be building up salts in your solution

From what i notice the are not in soil, They r in Hydron clay balls. So it is needed to water them more often & in some case's daily...I don't use that type of system but have friends that do. But it looks like you may be experiencing the start of some Nitrogen Def.. Hopefully someone that is growing in similiar way can be more helpful. Peace
