do any of you hydro growers keep your mother plants in soil ? i only got 3 air pumps just looking for away to make life easier ,

I do. Hell yes I do.

Always have. They give me big, fat clones and grow plenty fast under my 400 watt MH to provide plenty of clones. :weed:

okay cool i use gh nutes on the hydro what kind of soil you use on your mothers and ferts ?

I use the GH Flora Series in hydro for vegging and flower, plus 29% horticultural grade h2o2 @ 5 ml/gal., f.y.i.

On my mothers, I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest, 3 parts to every 1 part of perlite. I add one tablespoon per gallon of soil of dolomite lime, and 1 tablespoon per gallon of soil of mycorrhizae.

I use Fox Farm Big Bloom (BB) and Grow Big (GB); everything third watering they get nutrients added. I started with 1 TBLS/GAL of BB and 1/2 TSP/GAL of GB. For full grown mothers, I am using 4 TBLS/GAL of BB, and 2 TSP/GAL of GB.

okay cool man i just dident want to have to run a bunch of bubble buckets , thanks

It's the cheapest way to do it for sure, and pretty easy. I spend like 5 minutes every three days on my mothers, maybe 15 minutes a month on pruning/maintenance. Good luck friend.
