clones were taken from the mother once without stress but took more a week later and then it ended up wilting, its not over watered, and conditions havent changed. So i am thinking stress or maybe root bound but shes still fairly small for the pot size, i have seen much bigger plants in a pot that size.

Well pull her out and have a look. It's usually easiest when the soil is dry. Just pull it straight up by the base of the main stem, check out the roots and put it back down. Have the light on the dim side for the sake of the roots. Keep in mind that although bigger plants have been in that sized pot, if you've been taking clones then the plant would have been much bigger.

try using nutes, im a hydro grower and soil still confuses me but you either have bacterial infection from cutting with a dirty knife, or its not getting the nutes it needs, in my opinion. hope she's better soon!

I very much doubt that it had anything to do with taking clones. I try to never take more than 1/3 of the available potential clones at any one time and try to wait 2-3 weeks before cutting more. It looks like you left plenty of vegetation. The problem seems to be systemic.

Just wondering, are you using an exhaust blower? I keep my moms in a catching trough that came from a constant flow system(sucks). It's 12" wide, 6feet long, but I had to build up the sides to eight inches. It has a nifty little resivoir and legs to keep it sitting properly. I also had to install a barricade at the downward end to hold my rock. I used one inch of regular gravel and the rest, crushed lava rock. Lava rock is about 50 cents a pound Canadian. I only use four foot fouresant cool white tubes24/0 on my moms, ocasionally complimented(at times) by a 400w/mercury vapor bulb18/6, much like a metal halide but frosted. Change the res every five days and make sure you keep it airated. I dump a few gallons through it at a time. You can water as many as three times daily or once every two or three days, depends on desired growth. I keep seven moms in this trough.

i havent hit it with nutes in a while, so maybe thats the issue. I pulled it out of the pot and it starting to become root bound as well

Potplants love clean fresh soil. Be sure the plantpot and soil has good drainage. I usually put some ordinary gravel at the bottom of the pot when using dirt. You need at least four, four foot floresent cool white tubes to keep your moms healthy, 24/0hr.

Hows the old girl doing? Did you find the problem/ sollution? Let us all know, as im sure someone with the same problem will one day come accross this thread and be interested in the sollution!!!
