Mother plant selection strain ideas?

Hey guys im having a couple issues deciding what to grow. Im a pretty picky smoker i like weed that smells dank before you even open the bag and has that kush taste?? not even sure how to explain it. The best way i can put it is it smells like your carrying a skunk in your pocket.

so anyone want to give me some ideas on killer A+ quality strains?

im thinking i probably want a strain like bubba kush/headband/og kush? something along those lines.

they have a strain called DOG and its a headband x og kush .... im growing it out right now... i also have a sour kush x blue dream and fireballs wich is a fire alien kush x with a cherry puff

my issue is deciding what i like. I am assuming the weed i get from my drug dealer is some kick ass strains because its always bomb. I just wish i could tell the genetics of what im smoking.
