Mother plant hydro

I am trying to reduce the number of reservoirs I have to monitor constantly

At the moment I have a flower res, veg res, cloner res, mother plants res.

I've noticed if I give my mother a low feed of nuts it's fine it doesn't need over 600 ppm.

I'm curious as to whether other people manage to have their mother plants in the same resevoir as the clones?

I'm thinking of setting up a recirculating between the totes to add oxygen for the mothers then misters in the cloner part.

I figured 500ppm ish would be ok for clones since the mother they just came off where fed the same. Anyone got any opinions about this?

i found keeping mothers in hydro was difficult because of the growth rate in hydro. i have started keeping my moms or clones of moms in solo cups and potting soil.

The mums will be in the same resevoir as a DWC.

I need fast growth as I want 100 clones every 5 weeks from the mothers. I'm thinking of keeping 2 mothers in the resevoir to get 50 clones off each

I recently discovered a little trick....
I missed watering a plant.... It looked dead.
I kept on watering it anyway and slowly but surely over 3 weeks it started catching back up to its sisters. It wan;t one of those look dead but recover in 30 minutes situations.
Two weeks later when I chucked them under the scrog net this plant was so full of branches it drove me nuts....
Would be great for taking tonnes of clones though.

I will get enough clones from the plants with 5 weeks of growth before I take clones.

My main concern is the clones getting the same nutes as the mother. So was wondering if there was anyone here who feeds newly cut clones the same nutes as the mother plants

I do, some people says weaker to start but if you let it get a nice amount of roots. The “clones”can handle the same nutrient load as the mothers

You say if you let them get roots. What about before they have roots? If I take the cuts and put them directly in a cloner in the same resevoir as the mothers with same ppm?

Can u afford to do a little experiment? Take a couple and try it out. I don’t think they really feed when they start getting roots just need to get water and oxygen. When I started I used to use same fert load as moms but that was for them to grow roots faster. I pretty much was just wasting nutrients lol

I'll test anyway but just figured if someone else already knows it's ok to do I'd just through all my clones in rather than waste time testing with 1 or two.

If you used the same fert level as your mums and they didn't get net burn and rooted faster by doing it I don't see that as a waste of nutes. Maybe you just answered my question that it's fine to do it

I meant they didn’t root any faster but it didn’t hurt. They are as mature as the mother you took them from so think of it as that
