Mother Clippings for Clones

approx how many clippings can i take off my mother plants if they are 4ft tall, i am trying to determine how many mothers i will be needing to support approx 40 clones every 2 months.

I dont know the answer the first one. But for me I have 3 mothers I topped then lsted. One branch provided 20clones and theres 2 tops. The mothers are about 3 ft tall. Its afgani mazar.

yah, basically what i am searching for is IF it is safe to take a lot of clippings at once...i dont want to do something harmful to my mother etc...once my "future" 40 clones enter the flowering room, it would be safe to take 40 clippings off of say......2 4ft mothers???
