I would like some help. I'm new to this site and I am not sure how things work around here. I just began growing, I bought some seeds they are Hawiian Snow Feminized. I assume these are good. I have coated my closet with tinfoil. I have a timer, and an exhaust fan. I already know that for the Veg. cycle I need 20-20-20 fertilizer or so i am told. I need for the strain I have need some thing like 15-30-15. I need treated soil. I only want to grow one plant at a time and have the second going into the flower stage, when the first is done. I bought one 32 watt fluorescent, with two bulbs 32 watt 2800 lumens. I need to know if this will work through the whole grow. Or do I need a Hid? If so, where can I buy them?

This won't be possible unless you have 2 separate rooms. Veg and Flower use different time cycles(18/6 and 12/12 respectively).

I am kind of confused by what you are saying you have for CFL's, do you have 1 or 2? Either way you will want at least 4 to have a decent grow.

You can get a cheap HPS system online for like $70 and it is well worth it as opposed to the CFL's.

Well technically it is two rooms i have a closet with a top on it. This is where i expect the seedlings to grow. I have one Lamp and two bulbs. So you are saying that I need two lamps with 4 bulbs? Is this going to be okay? Or will my plants suffer for because of it? I do plan on getting a 400 W metal halide Light. I guess I am asking if the fluorecent bulbs will be good for seedlings?

floros will do fine for seedlings, but that 400 watter will be much better after they graduate to proper vegging plants.

get rid of the tinfoil

try mylar emergency blankets from wal-mart or paint it white

foil just produces heat its ganna make it all hot and actually take light from the plants not give them more...foil has no reflectivity
