Starting this so I can keep better track of my runs and be consistent. Be able to look back and see what worked and what didn't and tweak things as needed. Feel free to follow along if you like.

Growing in a cool basement in a cold climate, so I have ink birds controlling humidity and temps. In both rooms.

Strain/breeder: 3 chocolate skunk, 3 blue berries and chocolate , 6 bag of skunks and oranges. All Useful Seeds, all feminized.
Medium: happy frog for the seedlings, organic built soil recipe in another thread titled "Critique my soil recipe" if anyone is interested for the remainder.
Lights: startering just four, 4' floros for the first 2 weeks, then for veg i have 10 cxb 3590s, and a set of 12 in the flower room.
Pots: start in 4 inch pots then move straight to 5 gallon Sub Irrigated Planters, since these are feminized. In the future I plan to run 2 packs of Bodhi at the start and move them to 3.5 gallon SIPs for vegging, then up pot to 5 gallon once the plants are sexed and males are removed. The goal being to flower 11-13 plants per run.

Currently have some Bodhi Black Raspberry in the flower room to show off as well as 1 female that made it from a tester pack from GLG.

The seeds noted above were soaked in water with a little hydrogen peroxide for approx. 24 hours, then planted directly into happy frog on Sunday Jan 17th. I have been having 100% success with this method the past 2 runs. Hoping for the same this run.

Hope to keep this updated often!

We have lift off on 9 out of 12 so far! Only day 4 from soaking! Once all the seeds all are up ill start the 4 week timer. I am going to go 4 weeks seedling 4 weeks "veg" then into flower. I will up pot into five gallon sips once they outgrow these little 4 inch pots.

Also making some tea for the plants in flower. I love this diy compost brewer but holy crap is it a mess! Hoping this two tote containment system helps!

All the seeds are up! I gave them each just a shot glass full of plain water phed to 5.8 using only citric acid as my ph down ( my water comes out of my tap at 9.7 clear as crystal at under 100 ppm no filter or anything 300 foot well).

The big ladies got the umber foamy compost tea, (has some of my soil mix, worm bin runoff, fish emulsion, some em1, kelp, mollasses...dried banana peals... I think that's it lol) as a top dress with a sprayer and the rezs on the SIPs i gave each about a gallon of water phed to 6.5 again using only citric acid to stay organic as possible.

The big ladies are on day 28 of flower.

Thanks for watching!

Seedlings are all doing great will get a little more water tomorrow. The key right now is to not fuck with them too much and just keep their environment dialed in! So many seedlings are killed by growers imo by over watering! And I had this issue myself until I started documenting exactly when and how much water to give them. Seems to me working!

Sadly a couple of the flowering ladies seem to be having an issue. I'm not sure if I had a weird mix of some different soil in just these 2 or maybe since they are in the middle of all the COBs they are getting so much light they need something more?

Will give everyone a top dress today or tomorrow, not quite sure what to have it consist of yet.

Also I might start adding cal mag since I hear that can be an issue a lot of times with LEDs.

Thanks for tuning in all!

Nice. Say again what these 5 g sips are? Bucket in bucket. And bottom has perlight ? So the top pail sits on perlite?
No perlite underneath. I have a net pot full of Pete moss the sits in the water in the rez and I use small pvc pipe to hold the weight so it is not all resting on the net pot.

There are actually 2 smaller pieces of pvc in the bottom acting just as supports for the bucket with all the soil. They are about 3 inches tall and have a little area cut out of the bottom on each side of them so the water can flow through them also. The water pipe passes through the soil and the upper bucket but there is no support there.

There are a ton of ideas over on the sub-irrigated planter thread also, including the original PDF document that has the plans for the bigger version done with totes. I have made 6 of those that are made from 18 gallon totes. They have a much larger footprint though.

Yeah that’s quite the rabbit hole. Just too many pages. For this pot smoker
