Mosquito Type Bugs Coming Through Intake Hole

Just today I noticed I'm getting these little mosquito looking bugs coming in through my intake(sucks in fresh air from a hole in the wall). Can I put a screen there? Will it effect my air flow? Any other ideas? Maybe a Backdraft Damper?

Some people use "Panty-hose" for this purpose, yes it will restrict the airflow somewhat.

Some people use "regular" windowscreen, it will restrict the airflow very little.

sounds like fungus gnats. i hate them little buggers! i use sticky traps and neem oil.

i use panty hose on my 8" intake fan does the job
