I just put these clones to flower. I put them in Hydroton rocks and set the flood timer to flood every 3 hours. So 4 times when lights are on. ppm is at 580
Are they suposed to look so dead? I know they get shocked from the transplant but they reallllyyyy look bad.

=( is this normal?

Ya they were all rooted pretty good, I havent looked at them today yet because lights are off but ill take a look tonight and see if there doing better
Hopfully!

Don't wanna scare you but the last pic looks like you might have spidermites. Theres white dots all over the tops of the leaves. Check under the leaves for damage and when you mist them look for webs.

Strange, they already had roots, and there flopping over that bad??

they look healthyish for clones...

I dont see spider mites in the pictures...

Maybe it was transplant stress. You could try adding a watering with b1.

B1 does wonders for stress.

I had several plants die from Excess Heat over 95 for long periods, I used Amino Aid and brought back the dead in one week. Could work in your situation too.

k thanks ganjagoddess and golden ray ill try to keep my fan on longer and see if they do better.

How often many times do you guys think i should flood? And should i only flood during lights on?

SORRRYY for all the questions this is my first time ^ ^

now im confused =(
gg seys 2-3 times
and i water 4 times within the 12 period lights on
but Kp says 4 times is not enough.
Guess im just going to have to experiement with it

Thanks for all your help!

these plants need water it looks like you have nothing feeding from the top which is where the roots are even if your flood try is filling right up the pots look higher this means no water plants tend to like a little water if you top feed do it 15 mins every hour thru lights on and 15 mins every 2 hours through lights off.

Quoted for truth. With the medium that you're using you need to increase your flood cycle time.

It's more than just a moisture problem, it looks like you have a general nutrient difficiency going on in your plants; this should clear up if you flood more often which will push more nutrients.

When I ran a flood table, it was 15 minutes every hour as mentioned above.

the other responses are good too; perhaps the water level isn't high enough. the cause of the problem is a lack of water; now you just have to figure out why, and get them happy again.

once you've got it, they'll stand up in an hour or so, so you should know something fast from trial and error.

i allow my plants 8 water periods a day, 15 mins each. i also allow the water line to come up to 1'' below the rim of the pots. hope this helps :)

It could be that they arent getting enough water because the flood doesnt fill high enough up to the area where the virgin roots are...

Watering is a matter of opinion, many people just water hydroton rock plants 3-4 times a day, some run continuos drip systems that never shut off...

I like to water less, because it causes the roots to grow in search of water and hence promotes a bigger plant.

It really is a matter of style, opinion, and science....

Cheers
