MORE LIGHT at 8 weeks

If you have a few plants under 1000 hps on a 4.5' track. at 8 weeks and the buds on sativa are weak and thin can you add more lights at that point or are they set in their final development stage? Would more light now mean more mass in the buds? Would the end result be worth the 400 for the new light with about 12 plants?

adding light at any time increases production, but with only a few weeks until harvest it may be hard for the difference to show.

Don't hold back IMO

I think that some like super lemon haze and lemon skunk are going to go like 15 to 17 IMO. I have one at 8 weeks that has hardly started flowering. Thanks for the input

Actually, for my 1st grow (and it's currently growing), I brought the light closer during the last two weeks of flowering. All of my buds are growing in width and height by 1/4 an inch on a daily basis.
