Mongo needs advise with sour d...

so i got 2 sour diesel plants. the girls will be in 9th week tomorow.
to me they look close the trichs are mostly clear and cloudy and a little amber.
my question is how does RIU like their sour diesel, trichs wise?

mongo those girls look about ready bro, very nice weight on those buds. the cut time is dependent on what you like, less ambere more head high, more amber more body high. i cut a test limb off my last sd run n its totally different high than cuts done 2 weeks later. i think personal stash should be done on multiple cuts to broaden the high spectrum. also lets the unripened buds lower down get the light they need to finish off.
i say give them a week of flush n cut...jmo

whats up mongo...they are some pretty diesels you grew...alot of people hate on the SD, but its my favorite strain out of the 17 diff ive ran...i like to run my sour d for 70 days to the chop and that puts me at about 30-50% amber...mine could prob go another week or longer, but i dont like the couch lockiness that comes with it....heres a few pics of mine...i say yours should be ready within a week to 10 days

thanks ganjaluva, yours are also very nice. i dont like the couch lock either. i dont think diesel is suposed to give u that.
i luv diesel too. 2nd choice for me. og kush being #1.

ok, so i did decide to chop. heres a pic of one of the tops. not the biggest top in the world, but for a sour diesel clone it works for me.
what i do is 2 trims. a first trim basically a rough trim. pull off big leaves and tip the sugar leaves. hang and when ready, do a second trim. fine tune and make her look sexy.

damn mongo thats a very impresive top!!! especially for sour diesel... great job!!!
i too trim 2 times. those buds look sexy as hell with just the first trim

what kind of weight you think you will get from the 2 plants? love the SD...

NYC Diesel is a lot like Sour Diesel except more fruity and a stoned heady effect. I love both on their own and even more as a mix, Diesel NYC, or Sour have always been a favorite but the mix of both is greeeeaaaat! bongsmilie

My biggest was under 3 ft and yielded 6 oz.
They are suppose to be medium yields off the NYC and Sour Diesel, but mine out preformed kush's side by side.

a 6 oz plant thats 3 feet must be a beautifull site. 2 and a half ounces on a 2 footer looks wonderfull. were you in soil? probably a dwc?
