mom's. how do we keep em soil/hydro/areo?

A lot depends on how many cuttings you need to take. I keep my mothers in soil (cheap soil like ocean forest).

I am setting up sog grow. I have 18 mom's started from seed. The 4x4 grow I am doing has 140 2" sites in 2 dwc. Id need 70 cuttings evey 35-40 days.the tent is in veg atm.
I have another 6x6 tent my wife uses for veggies. She will give me one shelf. Maybe 2. The shelvs are 4x2.
Question
Now the moms are in the dwc and 3"tall. Should I move them to soil now and keep them under florescents for long term? 5 months.
Come spring mass cloning and then all the girls go out except 2 or 3

18 moms is not needed for 70 cuttings every 35 days long term. Maybe to start your set up you need more due to the plants are young right now, but 2 moms per strain is more then enough after 3 months of growth and topping. As far as long term lighting thats on you. If your talking T-5 florscents then yes that could be long term under those. 2 beasts under a 8 bulb T-5. But lightings on you obviously there are other options. As far as transplanting you do that when ever you believe you have enough roots for the pot your going to be sitting in. Ive had good luck and can take a mom over a year in a 7 gallon pot, putting 2 moms under an 8 bulb t-5. Hundreds of cuttings every month bro, you'll have way enough.
