hi people...i visited my local store today to find some mollasis but have ended up getting black treacle is this simular to mollasis and could i use this to feed my plants with ??? help will be appreciated thanx........
Hey MrBud, Black Treacle should b sweet. Just go sparingly on it. One Tablespoon once a week should see you right, depending on pot size (this guide is for a 5 gallon pot).
i have one plant in one big pot and 3 others in small buckets so im gonna go with half a teaspoon a week... should be fine??? i wouldnt want it too sweet would want it just right....

Yeah should be right. The thing you want to watch is if you over-do it then you can attract pests pretty easy.
Na cool water is fine. Just give it one helll of a shake first. I normally mix my feed (weaker than normal) then PH adjust, then dip a 2L bottle in and fill it up with feed, add the Teaspoon and give it a good shake and add it back to ur mix.
Hopefully ur EC/CF won't sky-rocket on you, but if it does then add water or chems as neccesary.
i think i already have a black fly problem being as one of my leaves has been eaten a bit but will
try the treacle on one plant first just to see how it goes but thanx for your help

Black Fly don't eat ur leaf.. Their known as Fungus Gnats, and they attack ur root system. They typically come from watering just before lights out as they breed in the damp, dark conditions. You need to dry out the top 3cm of soil. Try adding some sand to ur pots. It lets ur feed drain through whilst keeping ur top-soil dry. Plus it's Neutral PH
This means though that something else is eating ur leaves.. Maybe Thrips, Aphids or a Caterpillar??
thank u for the guide....looks to me might be aphids being as there black and i can see a few flyin around in there...will sort something out asap........
