so right now im using egg shells bannana peels and pure natural honey as floweiring nutes would it be worth going out and spending the 5$ on the mollases? or will it not make a big difference?

the honey should do the same thing as the molasses aside from the extra sulfur. I would recommend purchasing some actual nutrients though rather than just amending the soil with uncomposted organic matter. try bonemeal, bloodmeal, kelp meal, feather meal, bat guano, earthworm castings... these should give you much better results than egg shells and banana peels.
/e if you are going to buy it get it at either a feed store or a farm store. You can buy 5 gallon buckets for $10. Will last you years.

Yes its worth it, and I think its even cheaper that that at Walmart for Grandma's unsulphured molasses.

I agree with gastanker. Seems like egg shells and banana peels would take a little while before they broke down enough to be available as nutrients to the plant.

I'll bet you that he's growing in a sterile media. Pretty sure they will never break down into an available (ionic) state. If he's not growing outdoors then it will definitely not help within the 8-12 weeks you flower a plant for.

At one time I thought unsulfured mollasses would do something...read all the praise from some...tried it on several strains in various dilution strengths...blind testing, everytime with same strains etc, never revealed that it did anything in potency or taste..multiple testers picked non-mollasses more than with mollasses, over and over.....so I stopped using it.....all it did for me was draw sweet ants......

Molasses and other sugars stimulate the microlife in the media. If you do not understand what this means, then you should make an effort to learn about the soil food web before you decide to use anything aside from synthetic nutes in a sterile media.

i had to use sterile soil today when transplanting, i ran out of organic and could only get sterile, i use all organic nutes, will i still get the same result using organic nutes in the sterile media or will i have to get chem nutes?

It's cheap. do it. Works incredibly well. you'll notice a difference within 6 hours with invigorated growth. Unsulphured only though. Just bought 1gal on Amazon.com for $9. 2Tbs / gal with your non fert water and when flushing and you'll be stoked.

okay well lol im not cheap just broke but im getting 6$ /hour cash tommorow to do some bullshit i would love to get sum bat guano or some good real organic nutes instead of the mollases ima search the web see howe much that type of ashit cost if i can find any good organic shit for 10$ and stores that caryy it ima grab it instea dof the mollases if any of you got any suggestions of some good organic nutes mixes that i can find at a store chain in the usa that run like 10$ or so give or take a couple $ let me no thanks

at my local hydro store they sell bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, alfalfa meal, and kelp meal for $1 per pound. If you have a small grow a lb of these will last you a long time.
bone meal is good for you P, blood meal good for your N, feather meal good for N, alfalfa meal good slow release for N, P, and K, and kelp meal is good for K. So dose up the blood and bone meal at the beginning and then follow with the kelp meal later in flower. All of these nutrients aside from the kelp meal must be mineralized before they are available to the plants. This means they are slow release and that you need to have active microbial life in your soil.
The molasses is a supplement for this microbial life that is going to break down your NPK into usable forms for the plant.
If you really only want a single product try and find Maxsea. This is an organic 20-20-20 combination. If you are growing in sterile soil and want to go organic you need to use bat and bird guanos and kelp meal - these are already water soluble and available to the plants, the rest will have no effect in a sterile soil.

certain organic nutrient forms can be used in sterile soil. Bat guano, bird guano, and kelp meal are all partially water soluble and available for immediate uptake my plants. Bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, ... are not available until they have been broken down within the soil. These will have little to no effect in sterile soil.
Check your products label, is should say what % NPK as well as what % of each of those is water soluble. By water soluble they don't just mean it dissolves in water but that it has an ionic charge which allows plants to uptake it.

i did a little experiment got a 20 litre pail filled it half full of hot water added eggshells, lettuce potato peals, you name it it went into there i stirred it up well ever day smashing it up and as i kept adding different types of vegetable scraps etc i kept addin a little more hot water well within 2 weeks i checked my ppm and it was well over 2000 i was WOW i didn't try it on my plants but guessing i will once all my nutrients are empty

Earth Juice has good bottled liquid organic nutrients with those ingredients. A sterile medium can always be inoculated; various products can do this and even guano has some microbes in it.
BTW honey is no substitute for blackstrap molasses, which has a high potassium and mineral content. Honey also has anti-microbial properties. Also, less is more with molasses.
Sounds like a recipe for anaerobic activity; smell that stuff before you apply it.

It doesn't make your buds taste more sweet, and it doesn't get taken up directly by the roots. You're not feeding the plant, you're feeding the microbes in the soil, which in turn break down the organic matter in the soil small enough for the roots to uptake.

You simply need to introduce microlife to the sterile media. You can do this by adding a fungi and bacteria that come in a bottle. There are many products to chose from, I can recommend Great White, mycogrow soluble, mycomadness, ect. Or you can buy a small bag of earth worm castings and make a 'tea' which will have a nice diverse population of microbes. See my sig link for further info on microbe teas.
