FireWorks Member Sep 6, 2012 #1 I just picked up a gallon tub of Botanicare Blackstrap Molasses & used it one time. When I opened the container a week later to use it again the entire top of the molasses is covered with mold/fungus. Is it still good to use in my tea's??

I imchucky666 Well-Known Member Sep 6, 2012 #2 If you've only had it a week, and used once, I suggest taking it back and getting a new one. And, with your new one, make sure your spoon or whatever you use is clean when you dip.
