Mold???

Yo. basically i have a plant. my first. and its in the 18th week. its budding and the buds are there its female. basically its got loads of little black flies tht keep turning up on it, and in the soil. i got rid of them i think for now by changing post n cleaqning out my cupboard. but. and its a very big but, from like a week after i noticed them the buds onn the plant started to smell nasty, not even like skunk, it s a musty smell. can someone tell me wat to do i dont want skunk dat dont smell like skunk. cheers in advance.

check the humidity in the room as that may cause your buds to grow mold and smell mustee as u say....and take care of the situation asap cuz u wont wanna be smokin any molding buds,,, taste like crap and its jus gross at the fact ur smokin buds wit MOLD~

i cant really check the humidity. itsmy first plant and im jus growing it in the cupboard there isnt a fan there tho so i would gather it is rather humid. u saying i should prolly buy a fan?

yea i suggest a fan forsure,,,,whats the dimesnsions of ur cuboard that your growing in?????,,, in my grow room i have three fans running,,,1 for bringing in fresh air,,,, another for exhaust of the air in the room,,, and one oscilating fan inside the room... and you can buy a cheap thermometer at home depot that has a a regular thermometer and a hygrometer,,, that measures both humidity and temperature.

cheers b. got a fan on it now. the cupboard is about 6ft by 4ft by 4ft, ima give it a week to get its po back if it dont ima star again. i got some lowryders and really cnt wait to test em.

word.... Just as long as you got some type of air circulation u should be all good.....
