Mold???

So im new to growing and im using a grow box and ive started to notice one of my plants soil on top is slightly turning white ...is the soil just dry or could it be mold if so any tips on how to prevent and cure my plant .. any tips at all would be helpful

Baking soda and water sprayed on mold will change the ph and stop the mold. Get your humidity down before you get serious problems.

Im extremly new what ways that are cheap and easy can i do to get the humidity down

High humidity does not usally show up first in soil. It is a possibility the soil is not draining well. or you are not letting pot completly dry out between watering.

water when the top 2-4 inches (pending on pot size) or an even better way is when your pot has become lite again

It should only be on top. remove it. Do you have a good draining soil?

My first incounter with mold was on the soil and at the drainage holes, white stuff. I mixed baking soda and water and misted mold.
