Mold or spider mites?

I had a bunch of seeds after germination wrapped around paper towel. They all did fine and are in the dome, except this one which seems a bit slow so it's been by itself for an extra day. Now I opened it again and it's covered in white stuff!

I previously had failed clones inside the grow room and a few plants were covered in the same stuff! But I cleaned the place well.

Are my other seedlings going to be ok?

Hard to zoom in on. Looks like a tap root with a bit of mycelium? Harmless. You will see it in organic soil. Forms on the top of it is undisturbed for a period of time.

Ohhh, it's the ugly duckling of the group. lol.

Put it in the dome, or whatever. I can't see spider mites doing that. Not saying it's impossible, I just can't see it happening.

See what happens.

Here's what I CAN say. It appears to still be going strong. That may change in the next 12-24 hours. If you want to keep it isolated, no problem. Just put it back where it gets plenty of air, yet doesn't get dry. Or plant it and just treat it differently as a game. Sounds like you have more :peace:

I take it out to check on it 3-4 times a day, and I spray the paper towel when it gets dry. Now I kind of don't want to put it with the others haha
