mold on buds

i never ran into this before, how to i get rid of this mold? this only on one top, there is about 8 tops on the plant. the plant is in the 7th week of flowering

that's not mold. Looks like some kind of cocoon.

Looks like mold to me, I'd gently remove that entire moldy bud to try and keep it from spreading.

Did you look at the 2nd pic? The first blurry pic does look like mold but the second has silk webbing wrapped all around it which leads me to believe it is a cocoon. I guess that is mold inside the cocoon though.

That is 100% mold. Remove the infected area and hope you don't spread any spores.
