mold at base of the plant

I was just checking up on my babies and found one had some white mold growing on the soil around the base of the plant. Not sure why its growing, but my question is should I kill the plant to save my other plants?

No don't kill her! I've had this problem before, try turning up the soil without damaging the roots. ( like flip it over & stir it up a bit) You are probably watering way to much and have a high humidity in your grow room. Try adding more soil on top of that and lowering your room humidity.

Also, if you think its not being watered enough and its that dry mold look then typically that is your problem. Just water more, stir it up and add a little bit more soil on top of that.
( adding more soil always give better eye appeal ):bigjoint:

- the only bad mold i've seen is when its actually on the plant, which is from watering the buds directly. or when you cut down your plant and your buds are touching each other. The moisture and darkness between the buds creates mold that ruins the bud. Thats when you throw your shit out

Ill give that a try, just dont want the mold to spread to my other ladies. I think it could be from over watering like you said. I stuck my finger into the soil and it was wicked damp, Im gonna try mixing up the soil and adding more and gonna add more holes in the bottom for better drainage.

Yea I really didnt want to kill her, she's my "Lab Rat". Im currently doing an experiment with watering her with vodka and plant food only. She's 6 days into the flowering stage and 2 days into the vodka wattering. Someone told me about someone who tried this with flowers, I guess the stems, and leafs were stunted but the flowers grew like crazy. Currently there isnt a difrence in the way the plant looks, just in the way it smells. Im using Smirnoff green apple a nip each time. Right now she stinks like vodka....hopefully i can get something to smoke from this plant.
