Your best bet, is to go through the grow faq
There is so much awesome stuff on there. And a lot of it is really nicely written, so it isn't too boring going through reading it. (even though I am personally fascinated by all of this)
Plus the whole thing was put together very organized so it is real easy to navigate.
Once you get done knowing were everything is, it will take care of the majority of the questions that will come up.
