so i have been reading the benefits of using molasses in grows.. i am about 2 weeks away from harvest.. was thinkin of using molasses to thicken/resinate my buds a lil more... i am using a ebb n flow n i hear its about a tablespoon per gallon of water...

my question to all u molasses users is.. would this be really benficial the last 2 weeks??? and should u use molasses while flushing also?, or would that be bad???

I wouldn't bother now.. I've used molasses for the past few years...but this year I'm stopping before the flush so about 2 weeks from cut... I was told to try this so the bitter molasses taste doesn't show through.... so as I said I'd try the next time at the start of flower.. Luck.

The molasses just provides carbo's that are easily and quickly absorbed by the plants. It doesn't change the taste, sweet or bitter.

thanks...

crackerjax.... im not looking to change the taste... its mango kush already has a delicious taste and sweet aroma... just wondering if 2 weeks with molasses will help to thicken buds up? or is that a myth?

there are small trace amounts of different nutrients in mollassas..so it gives the plant something during the flush while ur strippn it of all the nutes u ran throu it during veg and flower

TrUe TrUe i use it 1once a week in veg now.. 1tablespoon per gallon..

I use it with every other feeding in Bud all the way thro on this current grOw. I kinda go off wut i have at the time and wuts available..I happen to have a nice large jug of " Grandma"s Unsulfered M...

thanks a bunch tilemaster and crackerjax... appreciate the heads up.. can u reccomend any certain type of molasses or syrup to use? does it make a difference? or just go get sum cheap sugary mollasses...

unsulfered or blackstrap..im more familiar with the unsulfered type..but blackstrap may be more unproccessed which is always good... alberstsons ..."grandmas'' unsulferd mollassas right next to syrup
