ok guys for the last 2 weeks of my grow i plan on feeding just molasses. the question is will feeding molasses up to harvest effect my taste or anything. i kow to cut out the nutes but i didnt know if molasses was safe? any help would be appreciated.

Itll change the tstae slightly and the aroma. Not harmful just different but if its a soil grow ill definately add weight and girth to buds.Never ever in an aero setup though.I learned lol

lol yeah its soil. so u guys really thing it will make a big difference even jst usin it in the last 2-3 weeks? and should i go ahead and cut the molasses too or just go ahead and keep feedin?

Hell, the only negative thing ive heard about molasses or any concentrated sugar load is when growers foliar feed. (As in spraying leaves with a concentration)

Foliage feeding leads to sticky leaves, and insect problems. Soil feeding is chill as far as I know.

What do you have to loose? If anything you have everything to gain by giving them some extra sugar imo.

It's certainly changed the size and appearance of my buds. I'm a first time molasses user and will be using it from here on out, starting pretty much day one of month two when budding @1TB per gallon. Dose varies w/growers.

im around 2 weeks to cut as well. i have been using molases for most of my flowering. rotating molases, flower nutes, straight water. hittin it with a flush in a day or 2 when it needs watering. and one more .5 stength molases after that. its my first grow so as to taste and stuff i cant say, but my buds are pretty fat. if it changes taste id say it will probably be sweeter.

Ery

You can use epsom salts 1 tsp per gallon, the molasses in my opinion makes the overall taste a bit more floral, or fruity. I generally cut off everything in the last two weeks to that I get the most natural taste out of the bud. but that is my opinion.

magnesium is the core ingredient in molasses, sugar increases production of chloryphl, which i don't think I want in my finished product, I notice leafier finish.
if you are looking to fatten buds Co2 is a good way. prayer candles are close to 1$
and provide enough for about one plant.. ie. 4 plants should have 6 candles

i just bought a jar of grandma's mollasses and am saving it for flowering, i am wondering the same question if i use it during veg will growth increase? will sugar be stored up in the plant when i switch over to flower?

i use a cocktail of tsp per gallon of epsom salts, molasses, fert, and during veg I use superthrive which you can get a home debt. this makes fat fat fat stems, to support mammoth buds, that may bud for many months, we had a plant on bud for 14 months, we just couldn't take it any more so i chopped it. Won't HAPPEN EVERY TIME, AND you should only use the epsom salts twice a week. molasses and any kind of magnesium will make whe plant thive and nice and neon green, for a tasty harvest, I cut off all nutes 2 -3 weeks before anticipated harvest. When the trichs are no-longer clear and take on a opaque shade of amber. good luck

prayer candles? you mean you put candles into the room?? what ive been doing is (i make homemade wine) so i put my wine bottles in my grow room. they release alot of c02 into the air. two projects at once.
