I went down to the hydro store and picked up a qt. of hi-brix molasses. The guys helping me explained it feeds the beneficials in the soil. I have been using mycorrhizae and rain water, but now that there getting bigger (and the damn smart pots work great at aerating) I broke down and had to start using city water because of how thirsty they are
. I know that the chlorides in the water can kill the Mycorrhizae so im not sure if adding molasses is going to do anything now. I just filled up a 32 gallon container with city water, no idea how long I should let that sit. I've read that growers like to use the molasses in the last 3 weeks of flowering. Any suggestions on what to do now?
