Molasses & Other Flowering Nutrients

Molasses is a great additive for both vegging and flowering. During veg it can be used to help prevent ph fluctuation. If you ever use it during veg, which I would suggest, bite 1 of your branches that get cut and you will taste the sugars. Not sure if it's the molasses or not but my branches dont taste as sweet without it. It def helps with adding weight as well when used during flowering. I have used just molasses before and have done a side by side with things like canna's boost and bud candy and I will say that both the boost and bud candy help out with oil production leading to better flavor and smell. The boost seems to cut the flowering time by a week or so and I love that. But thats just my experience. It does cost a good bit of money but when you have a decent increase in yields and shorter flowering times while using these carb loaders, IMO, the investment is worth it.

It's much cheaper and better to get a qt. of General Organics CaMg+ or similar than store bought molasses. This particular stuff only has Ca+ and Mg+ carbonate and molasses at rate of 1 tsp per gallon of water or tea. That's 150-190 gallons/1 tsp per single quart of CaMg of solution versus 20-30 gallons/1 tbs molasses solution per pint. Do the math.
