Mods now regulating speech on RIU ????

Started a thread about "Zimmerman in jail again" in the politics( news and politics section ) yesterday to only first have it closed by a mod stating that the conversation was getting out of hand ( who determines that..I have seen worst ). It was reopened to continue discussion. The conversation continued with no major problems. Wake up this morning to add something to the conversation and the whole thread is now gone. Is this the way RIU is going now? Seems like if you not running with a certain crew you can't speak or add to a conversation. Pretty sad.

Just yesterday i saw a post that brought up a controversial topic, controversial because it's "close to home", and a global jumped straight in telling them to stop talking about it. Pretty lame.

the thread was out of hand, it was closed cleaned up than put reopen.

than it decided to get out of hand AGAIN so now this time since no one can play nice its deleted.

furthermore when you signed up on riu you clicked agree to the following
that we as mods or owners reserve the right to delete what we see fit
this is a privately owned forum.
