MM Card Question - Please help..

I sufffer from social anxiety - can I trade in my Xanax prescription (though its somewhat new) and get a MM card or do I need to suffer through a chemical compound called xanax for a period of time before I can qualify for a MM card?

I suffer from social anxiety but also have bi polar and ptsd and I applied for my mm card but I am in Canada. It is taking a lot longer than I expected but be persistent.
If you live on California you shouldn't have much a of problem getting one.
They have it pretty easy down there for that.
