Mix 2700k and 6500k bulbs for flowering.

I do it as a matter of course, just a couple to balance the CFL spectrum. I kind of figure that if the Grolux HPS I used to use was full spectrum then it makes sense to add that bit of 'blue' in there but I have no scientific justification for that! I've seen plenty of grows start to finish with just 2700k's though so it will be interesting to hear replys here.
My last grow was start to finish w/2700k did fine in veg, though I think this time w/the 6500k they're growing a little faster ... think I'll mix them in as you saay it makes sense...Thanks!
Thats what I was thinking might speed growth in flowering stage.Probably wouldn't hurt to mix them in now with yours.

I use predominantly 6500k. 2700k is supplemental, IMO. I actually put my smallest plants under them, as they seem to stretch a bit more creating a better canopy.
6500k will grow a plant from start to finish better than a 2700k bulb will.
First attachment is 6500k(daylight) vs 2700k(warm white).
Second attachment is them combined.
