Mites in my supersoil bin!

I have been cooking my supersoil for about a month now and I come outside to fine mites in my soil. I have tried spraying the surface with concentrated spray of Azamax for the last two days but I am still seeing them. I am storing my soil in a storage bin that I have lined with a tarp that is covering the top of the soil so it's pretty well covered but nothing short of airtight would keep them out.

I would hate to have to throw out the batch and would appreciate any suggestions. I am not going to be using the soil for about 3 months if that helps in finding a solution

Those bugs are bad. They are like the borg. No matter what you hit them with they get used to any spray or oils I used.
I battled those years ago and didn't win no matter what I did or use.
Predator mites eat those. Takes long time... and lady bugs to eat those mites.

Me I never ever take dirt from outside and use in my indoor grow. Its not just mites its ants etc that will be in the dirt outside.

I cut open a bag of leftover from last year OCean Forest soil to to do some vegetable gardening, and there was an ant colony in it.... I grabbed a handful of soil and came out with basically a handful of ants.
I thought to myself-- 'hey, free frass'.

I've heard that soil can conduct mites, but what are they eating in there, anyway?

What kind of mites did you have that you couldn't beat?
I had broad mites last round, beat them in veg but it seemed by the end of flower they made there way back by the end, judging by strange symtoms coming back.
I hoping it doesn't become a never ending battle.
I do have quite the aresonal of pesticides though, forbid being the strongest which I will only use in veg.

To the OP, sorry that doesn't look like anything I've ever saw. You never know what you'll find when the outside has access to what you're working with.

I've never had a problem getting rid of regular spider mites with the basics like Azamax, Monterey Gardens spinosad, Green cure, Dr. Zymes, etc. The main thing is you have to be sure to stick to a strict schedule.I've only had the appearance of a failed treatment twice in something like eight years but I think those were just bad years where I caught a new batch right after finishing the treatment schedule.
