Mite Control {flour/water/milk}

OK ,I need help fast,maybe!! I read to spray mite infested plants with water /flour and a touch of milk to get rid of them.Well it seems to have worked but now I got this glue like film all over my plants that isn't easy to come off without rubbibg.Any ideas or comments on what I have done good and bad.I'm afraid I may be killing my plants as can they breath with this film covering everything even the trichomes!!!! SOS Please send help Showgirl
