Misting my plants...

How often should I mist my plants??? I did it for the first time yesterday and they really seemed to like it. They are about two weeks old and lookin good so far. thx

i wouldnt mist them during flowering
but during veg you can do it every night after the lights turn off!

You can lightly mist several times a day during the vegetative state. Just be sure to do it when the lights are off or about to go off within 15 mins. Water when it dries on foliage can cause mirrors to form and thus reflecting your HID lighting to neighboring leaves causing light damage. You can mist in the flowering state but I would quit once you start to see buds forming.

I mist twice a day in veg - under 24/24 so always in light. I haven't seen any damage to my plants so far caused by this. My temps are fairly high though, usually around 85 degrees so it is soaked in or evaporated within a few minutes.

misting is really a waste of time. if you really want to make it count, foliar feed. do some searching and you'll find that it can really make a difference in your grow. some people go all out, i just use spray and grow.
