its gonna be rough, they already have a legislator out of Salem I think that is trying to rollback the deal, more or less, cbd oil only, even though they followed all the rules, got all the sigs, voted it in by a two thirds margin whole state. passed constitutional amendment. Think that guy was taking it pill form, so noone in his group I heard was smoking, suspected someone just called and wanted his room searched. Greene county sheriff is against it, law or not, so Im not surprised cause of the area, but still. Two and a half months, the apps start coming in and cards goin out july. They just can't wait to fuck with ya.

KC Cops are assholes. I lived there. Fuck them. Total dicks and I hope they all get cancer.

That may be so, but this was not in the big city.

It's a small town of a few thousand residents in the middle of Missouri.

Marijuana is a valuable medicine. Pancreatic cancer is what Alex Trebeck just announced, and what Tommy Chong cured for himself using an aggressive marijuana regimen.

It will take some time, but the small town people will eventually catch up.

Everybody has been propagandized for so long it is going to be hard for the anti cannabis crowd and a lot of them are in law enforcement and positions of power to come around. It is like they really believe that there is no use for the plant. They think medical marijuana is a big charade for people who want to smoke pot. I have smoked for years before I understood why and how this plant has helped me. I live in Missouri and am afraid we may see more enforcement of cannabis after our medical laws are in full swing. I hope I am wrong but I truly believe the anti pot cops are strategizing right now on how best to fuck with us once this is in effect. It has been a cash cow for Missouri drug task forces. If any body has 10 minutes read this report from a college kid about our drug task forces. I think a couple of these are playing out in court right now. A very interesting read. This will give you an idea of what we have been dealing with here in Missouri

Smaller towns than that are some of the ones giving dr recommendation letters out right now. though. Its just a mentality, big cities already dropping the 100 gram deal, expunging mj records, etc, and then you got the spfd and surrounding areas, red as hell, sheriff of greene county thinks he's sheriff winters of oregon fame, lol. Says his buddies in CO telling him of all the DUI's they finding, lmfao. The law passed by the voters per signatures, getting it on the ballot and voting it in. They mess with that, it will be Oklahoma all over again, they started to mess with that mmj law and those folks began getting sigs for full recreational, that governor did a back step and let the program work and now look at the money they raked in in one month. MO is kinda going backwards, for some reason. Gotta remember, over half this state likes Trump.

Per the old link above by the OP, in my area, they aren't doing the confiscating anymore for some reason, I think they've been sued or something. Meth distributors, opiate distributors, even people getting hit for herb distribution, they aren't seizing their stuff, or else they don't technically own anything, but there was a large meth bust in my area lately, largest in county history, and the lady who owns the land the rental was on was told not to worry about it.

Well, you Missouri guys need to realize that nothing happens quickly. Just because a law is passed, does not mean that peoples attitudes change. The pigs will continue to do whatever they wish, especially if they can steal someones money.

Just as an example, here in San Diego, after our State had the MMJ law in place for 13 years, swat pigs broke into my home at dawn and stole everything I had, and put me in jail. I wasn't breaking any laws, but it didn't matter to those sadistic pigs. Today they are still raiding places, even though our State has fully legalized for all adults! The pigs just don't care.

I'm sorry if I have caused distress, the point is to always be wary of the pigs.

I hope that these are the first steps toward legalization in Missouri and soon nation wide. The expense of moving out of state for some is to large and here we sit. So the slow steady crawl forward is the burden we bear.

I just read the article and watched the footage last night and it nearly brought me to tears. I'm glad it was posted here and I hope it goes viral.
Where is the charge nurse!? You mean to tell me, he/she is so fucking incompetent they couldn't address the issue of "alleged" smoking without involving the police? I've confiscated lighters from patients who smoked in their bathrooms and never once felt the need to call security. This was 100% about intolerance towards cannabis and had not one thing to do with patient safety...which is exactly how the hosp. admin and the PD will spin this.
Pancreatic is the worst and many times its nearly impossible to get their pain under control. Most die an agonizing death.
Where the fuck is the staff and why is NO ONE advocating for this vulnerable very ill patient?!

"What would you do if you had stage four pancreatic cancer, officer?" Officer: "Look I’m not in that situation so I’m not gonna play the what if’s game!"
This is why no one trust LE and why no one gives a fuck when cops are gunned down.

yea, at first report, it was somebody reported smelling mj smoke, then it was the security guard, now its the guard and four nurses, but dude wasn't smoking. None of his party was, he's dying. He did take a thc pill, but even if you smashed the bud and it dang good stuff, that don't smell like weed burning. Dollars to donuts, one of those nurses seen the oil, and thought it was the old time hash honey oil or just seen the oil and made a big stink there. They aren't saying that that lil town is home to Southwest Baptist, lol. Glad it made national news.

Today I seen where they busted someone with 250 lbs central MO in a car and SWMO had a big cart bust, funny thing is, I seen the pics, it looks like the carts they claim are counterfeit on IG, Dank vapes and some others. Obviously the passing of the mmj law by such a majority has angered some, lol. That town is right outside Spfd, and that county sheriff is like ole Sheriff Winters in Oregon. Their city council is doing the zoning and such for mmj businesses, etc. and it doesn't look like they are please, lol.

they just got medical grow your own, lets let that settle, all this bullshit talk bout nationwide legalization is just for votes coming up, you know that. Not saying its on somes agenda, but it won't pass like that, this is all election fodder, imho. OK of all places is the one state that when that governor started to mess with that law, they gathered signitures up so many so fast for legalization, she backstepped and left it alone. I still can't get over it. Out of state cards ok, guns ok, grow your own, ok. That poor state wants to make some money and they are doing it. Ark, poor ole AR what can you say. MO will have their clubs goin and after 3 yrs, Ark might, lol. Crazy the differences in the states mmj laws. But Im tellin ya, that lets legalize, especially if Trump wins again, is just fodder for the masses.

I'm sure the story will "develop" with time. Thankfully they have some footage.
Those nurses should know better than to put there own warped morality in front of patient care...especially palliative care.

I didn't read the other article but from the sounds, the new MMJ law might make things even more difficult.

Just re-schedule it already!

Bolivar is a medium size city for Missouri about 20,000. Biggest town in the area (30+ minutes to next bigger town) Ultra conservative, with a small university, Southwest Baptist University.
May take some time for the benefits and positive ideas to reach there.
