Mirrors in a grow room??

I have always been a big fan of growing outside but i have always had the curiosity of growing indoors, i was planning on using some mirrors in my grow room would this be a good idea or not?

no-don't use them---you will have hot-spots if you do.

nope. be better using white paint. i think white paint reflects about 90% of light, Mylar reflects about 95%

i read in the marijuana horticulturist bible that the layer of glass over the top of the reflective material will absorb and trap heat and light. So i dont think mirrors are good. Get mylar or flat white paint.

ok enough about mirrors, i have read alot about matt white paint in grow rooms but what about arctic white paint, its more lighter and whiter then matt white????

the matt is best any sheen/gloss finnish to the paint diminishes its reflective ability

you can get a pure brilliant white matt emulsion dulux.
thats what i use. its like opening the door to heaven it so bright

thats basically same as arctic white then, when ya open the door ya get blinded it reflects that much light
