putting tinfoil around your plant burns it. so what about a mirror, would that work good?

Would it work? yes but mirrors absorb some of the light. Flat white paint, mylar, or white visqueen plastic are best

Think of how bright it is outside when it snows & it's sunny. White is the best reflector in the world!
