Keep us posted for sure. I want to see how fast they grow. Do you know how old the plant is? Is it a clone or from seed?

The plant was grown from seed, and from what the website says it should be about 5 months old. Apparently they are slow growers, that's why I was worried about the soil.

You could also order just the berries if you wanted to give them a try, but the effects supposedly diminish only 4 days after the berries are plucked. Another cool thing I just read: Miracle berries sell for $3 a piece at market. Cha Ching!

So you read the part about how it takes 2-3 years to start fruiting? that is insane to wait that long for one plant, by the time it was harvest I would not want to touch the damn thing after tending to it for 2-3 years lol. Good luck man.

I'm not worried about how long it takes to fruit. I am just excited that I have something that will even potentially bear fruit with such interesting effects. I like growing all kinds of plants, I find it a very interesting hobby. I think if more people had plants in their life we'd all be breathing cleaner, healthier air right now. Not to mention if you grow your own edible fruits, you know exactly what you're eating. I plan on having all kinds of fruit bearing plants in the future, on my list is a nice little patch of honeycrisp apple trees with crab apple trees to pollinate them. I also would really like to grow my own little dwarf clementine tree, just to name a couple of my future plans. Even if they don't bear fruit, people should grow plants, we owe it to the planet for destroying so many.

I love to grow anything.
I'm the same way! I'm new to the forum, but bought 2 plants a while back,... Sorry, don't have a link, I bought them from some Thailand based site. Here's how they looked when I bought them:
Nothing's growing on them yet, so I bought Miracle Frooties to have a tasting party last week! I highly recommend:
- coctails
- lemonade
- beer is really funky, but I didn't like it
- vinegar also funky.

Hey that's where mine was shipped from! Boca Raton(spelling?) to be exact. You should buy a 5" like mine, it was only 30 bucks with shipping(most of the cost). It won't grow fruit for a good while, but I get the pride of it being grown by me from near start to finish.

Its going good, I tried to take some pics but my camera wouldn't let me upload them. Its growing its first new leaf right now, its about a half inch long and a reddish color. Its definitely a slow grower, MJ in the same soil would be a foot tall already lol.

Okay here's those pics I couldn't get to work. The new leaf is a light reddish color protruding from the top. Does anyone know if those spots on the lower leaves are from high ph? Miracle Fruit favors acidic soil and I don't want it to die, but to be honest I think most, if not all of those spots were on it when it arrived. I'm thinking about throwing a tablespoon per gallon of distilled white vinegar in there next time I water, what do you guys think?
