Whats up to the FAM who know me and hello to everyone else. Well I am going to give you detailed instructions on a DIY minnie Ebb and Flow system UNDER $50 USD
. Everything in the list was purchased either at the hydro shop, home depot or the petstore.
prep: 5 min
mechanics: 45 min
Items needed:
1.) Submersible pump
2.) Air Pump
3.) Water Stone
4.) Aquarium tubing
5.) 43 litre under the bed plastic storage bin
6.) 62 litre roughneck regular bin
7.) 2 1/2" cpvc female
8.) 2 1/2" cpvc male
9.) aquarium silicone
10.) 1/2" tubing from home depot plastic not rubber
and all your nutes, lighting ect....
Okay to begin:
1.) cut 1/2" holes in the top of your roughneck lid. I used the biggest drill bit I could find around my house and then used a razor blade for the rest.
2.) cut holes on the bottom of the under bed storage bin. All I did was align the two holes with the roughneck lid to the under the bed storage bin were I wanted the holes and drilled away.
3.) take the 1/2" male adapters and screw them into the bottom of the under the bed storage bin with threads facing down on both holes. silicone the adapters on the edges of the adapters on the top and bottom (rub with fingers for better bond). Please make sure you have a good seal or water leakes will be an issue.
4.) next take your rough neck lid and align it with the male adapter threads and screw on the female 1/2" adapters. You can silicone the females to the lid, but it really does not make a difference. LET DRY FOR 24 HOURS, WATER CAN GO INSIDE WITHIN 48. Almost done.....
5.) next cut about a 5" tube off of the 1/2" tubing place it in either holes in the bottom of the under the bed bin. This will be used as your over flow. Silicone to the male adapter.
6.) cut a 10" tube of the 1/2" tubing and connect it to your the fill adapter and place the other end on your submersible pump
7.) insert your airstone
Damn was that easy or not???? You can actually use it for any type of grow u want. I am sure you can fit 4 lowriders maybe 6 or 2 mothers and numerous seedlings. I built this minnie ebb and flow for my soon to be mothers. You can change or alter my design, it's very simple. Any new thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Keep posted how to hook up a 4x8 ebb and flow and lots of DANK grows coming soon. Thanks for checking it out!!!!! THE END
