mininimum night time grow temps?

although more than 10 degrees difference is said to promote stretch but that would only be for a two week period or so, a plus to cold nights is your shit may turn purple, if it's a purple strain def will.

You know i would get one if i were you dude, cuz its only going to get colder and if in the day you are at the ideal growing temp, then your dropping like 15-20 degrees at night you are going to stress the hell outta your plants

Read more but better info before you go handing it out. 50 degrees is fine even. Not optimal but beats heating, drying the air out and then having to humidify the grow room/area. KISS!

I do not believe he's gonna stress his plants. I want my lights out temp to drop. I believe it makes frostier better buds.

I was going to ask this very question I have my grow room in unfinished part of basement I run light 7 pm to 7 am. I put a temp humidity gage in there. It is recording highs of 66 and low of 61. The lows must be during the day when dark. I have been flowering for 7 weeks. I have at least 5 or so more. Pure stavia so I am not getting a 10 degree difference but my plants look good. I saw my trichs the other day finally figured out how to use the hand held microscope. They are all clear few milky no amber. I was wondering if I heated it up a little if that would help speed up flowing? I was thinking of adding more lights to heat it up.

I try for 75 deg with light on and 60 with lights out. that's just me though. I have found that the last thing you wanna do is try to speed them up. In growing you need patience.

Probably not but decreasing light hours/increasing dark hours will. Just like in nature.

But seriously... I am in an area where we are seeing near freezing temps at night... My grow room has been having an average low temp (lights off and during the day) 59F.... lights on temp is 70-74F Buds are tight... and very very sugary... the fan leaves have shown some beautiful coloring but no purple on the bud. I think you should be fine... just from my own personal experience :)

word up. if i see a cheap deal on a space heater ill grab it. but now its less stress for me. dark period is dry and cold. its hard to keep humidity high so im gonna pick up one of those humidifiers i guess
